Full Time Training Program

This innovative program, led by Sergey Pevnev (formally of the West Australian Ballet) is based on the world famous Vaganova method. It was created by Russian dancer Agrippina Vaganova. It is a ballet technique and training system that is designed to use the whole body with equal attention being paid to the upper body, arms and lower body. Vaganova technique has been taught since the late 1920′s and has produced some of the world’s best ballet dancers such as Mikhail Baryshnikov, Rudolf Nureyev and Natalia Makarova.

Contemporary, character dance, pas de deux and acting are included as well providing all elements needed for a well balanced dancer. The focus will be on a high level of performance and aims to foster elite dancers in Western Australia.

Auditions for the Full Time Program can be arranged by contacting the studio. A Junior and Senior stream is available within the Full Time Program.

The daily schedule for the Full Time Training Program will encompass Conditioning, Classical Class, Pointe Work and Repertoire. Students will enjoy a rotating schedule in the afternoons of Pas de Deux, Contemporary and Character classes, along with daily Stretching and Flexibility classes.
